Graphic design and book covers
Here are books for which graphics was designed by SHELEG Art. These books have been published recently...
SHELEG Art made the photocomposition of the book 'La Part du Vent' by Olivier Pillevuit. This project allowed focusing on all the technical details related to pure graphics and working closely with the author to deliver a product with esthetics that matched his aspirations.
For the other books, SHELEG Art made the graphic design of their cover as well as the illustration for the reissue of the book 'Parler suisse, parler français' by Georges Arès.
The idea of Georges Arès's book is to make the Swiss people understand that their use of the French language is often marked by words that 'sound French', but are not understood by the French-speaking population outside the Swiss borders.
The picture shows a typical Swiss mountain dweller playing the alphorn. The melody he emits is represented by Swiss and French notes which compose an obvious harmony to him, while his message is probably unclear to others.
